This is a wonderful paddle. It has a bit of sting but allows you to control exactly how much pain you want to give. It is flexible but heavy So it has a snap to it with a nice high pitch crack when you strike skin with it. one side is smoother than the other, so while it stings less it produces a louder sound. The reverse side has raised studs that cause a bit more pain. There is less sound but definitely more sting. Its big enough to cover some surface and but small enough to easily control it.

For a $11 paddle it deserves 5 stars. Although I’ve seen 2 other paddles exactly like this but their handle was more firm. This handle’s pretty bendy.

I purchased this from Spencers a few years back. For the price the quality is nice, and I have really gotten my use out of it. It has two different sides and both sides feel a little different. Also the handle can be used as well. For a low cost toy, it has been great! I think this was my first toy of this nature and I used it for a really long time before purchasing other toys. Heavy, sturdy and delivers a nice sting. Its more of a plastic-y kind of rubber than a soft tire type of rubber. Its nice that it has a spiked side, which definitely hurts a bit more. I use it more of a punishment tool. If you are into a good amount of pain, this is the paddle for you.
