Look at product pictures
This seller does not have pictures of the harness being placed onto a person. There are other vendors that provide pictures. The material of this harness is heavy duty nylon and is well made. It is soft and pliable. However, I am 5'7" and 126 lbs. and this harness is HUGE. If you note in the picture which uses 2 live adults, there are large gaps along the cross chest strap. The reason that the shoulder straps and the chest strap are taut is because the male is pulling on the females legs. If you want to use the harness to keep the legs lifted back towards the females chest (making the harness "hands free"), then you will find the shoulder straps to be too long and the chest strap to be far too loose, even when adjusted as tightly as possible. Note that the chest strap in the picture is tightened as much as possible. Having said this, I z-folded the nylon material of the shoulder straps, took it to a shoe repair store and had these sewn (thus shortening them). I was able to tighten the chest strap with a heavy rubber band against the locking clip and that worked perfectly to make the chest strap tight. Note, by altering the harness as stated, one will no longer be able to use the wrist restraints. Finally, the thigh loops will also be as shown in the picture. They will work well if the intent is to have the legs pulled toward the male. If the intent is to have the legs held back by the harness, then they may be a bit large (see gaps in picture). The thigh loops are adjustable with double velcro, but again not sufficiently tight for my frame. The double velcro pieces are able to cross over themselves, thus making them tighter (though they will then stick out on one side). One can cut the pieces shorter if desired. Going through all of this, you may wonder why I did not return the harness. I did not want a harness that went around my neck - very poor ergonomics and uncomfortable with much neck strain from many reviews. I have not found another, reasonable priced well-made thigh harness. this works.

Hard to tell, but this actually goes around the torso. Since it's your typical nylon material, it's not exactly comfortable either. We tried to make it work for about thirty seconds, got frustrated, and threw it aside.
