Fits my queen mattress great (and I have quite thick mattresses). I guess you probably wouldn't be able to hold down a lion with the restraints, but they were strong enough for me! I like how thick the ankle and wrist straps are, they feel quality

Sportsheets has the best restraints around as far as more commercial brands go. Recommended to me at a sex store, I was told that these were the best but I read elsewhere that the cuffs detach easy. I think they're pretty sturdy but they do make it easy to remove them if a safety issue arises, which is a plus for people new to bondage. My partner and I have a few different sets of cuffs that we can switch out with the Velcro ones if need be. I recommend purchasing additional cuffs if you do have an issue with the velcro ones detaching. I took off a star for damaged packaging but otherwise I am quite happy with this purchase.
