Material has some give, more without the vibration insert, and the vibration could be felt. I personally would have liked more vibration at the base, and the vibrator insert broke from taking it out of the plug a couple times. I won't buy again for personal use, but it was good when I was beginning anal play and I would recommend for other beginners. The material is not as smooth as plastic, so you may have to use a lot of lube.
