50 shades of red! That was the color of my face as I was triple searched last July. So as it turns out, you might get triple security check with airport personnel if you put this in your carryon on your way to Costa Rica. Finally the culprit spanker was found and a red-faced TSA employee said "oh my, well, that's okay" and nicely put it back where she found it. So it's perfectly okay to take it on the flight with you. (Though, I did put it in my checked luggage on the way home). What you do with it when you get to your destination is up to you. Don't expect some hardcore spanker that's going to leave red welts. you'll want a flogger for that. A leather one is nice :) this little guy is more for fun.
The picture is a little tough to see what's going on, so I'll explain. The handle is some sort of moled plastic or rubber so it's tough. The shaft is a metal rod a little thinner than a pencil, with VERY little flexibility, so it really puts a sting on... The heart is a couple pieces of good quality fake leather or something glued to each other with rubber cement. They start to peel apart a little but stay stuck really well. The long rod is definitely NOT in the center of the handle, so it makes it look and feel cheap, but it works well for the price. I got rid of mine because my spouse complained it was a bit too painfull of a sensation. I still prefer spartacus toys because I haven't bought one I didn't like yet, but this is one of the few items from this manufacturer I actually liked... If you want a bit of a sting- go for it!
I've bought a LOT of kinky stuff online, and this has easily become my favorite toy. well..one of them. It's hard to top hand made stuff. The little flapper is sturdy and fun. i just have to complaints. The heart is riveted and then glued. But it's sort of twisted. Not symmetrical. He metal shaft doesnt meet at the hearts tip. more..of to the side. this coulda been remedied with a second rivet. I have OCD so this REALLY bothers me. and the shaft..well its a little weak. I accidentally bent it, while turning...you dont need to know how. I dont have any complaints about the material. for $22 dollars the solid plastic handle and foam/vinyl heart are perfectly reasonable. i KNOW how much leather costs, soo..
Its cute, for sure, but looks very cheap. The heart flap is crooked, and looks cheaply glued together..Long steel rod as the base, and the handle is a hard plastic. hurts SO good, but id go with a beginners flogger rather than this; if this is your first whip
