I like the original vice but there were a few things I would like to have changed. The Vice 2 does just that. Rechargeable batteries were my number one Vice upgrade wish. The Vice 2 has them along with a nice magnetic charger to top them off. I have not felt the vibes slow down even after over an hour of continuous use. Next up, the vibrations. This Vice has two motors and the one closer to the base is excellent. The big thing the original Vice lacked in vibration was stimulation of all the sensitive nerve endings, not just the prostate. Speaking of prostate, this toy does a better job of reaching it with its slight increase in length. I tend to sit a little higher and the Vice 2 gets all the way up there. And, finally, the remote. This is a really nice feature. I didn’t think it would make much difference to me (despite every review of toys with remotes lauding their praises). The convenience of not having to fumble around for the correct button and not having to squirm around to reach them is a huge plus. The fun button adds a nice jolt right when you need it, too! So, why not 5 stars? I would like to see a higher intensity in the vibrations. That’s it, my only gripe! EDIT: I have had a chance to really play around with the vibration patterns and, I have to admit, I am raising from 4 stars to 5. While I would still like more intensity, the vibration patterns with the dual motors makes up for it, for now. The dual motors offer an interesting feeling with one motor up at the p-spot and the other down by the anus. Some patterns create a wave that seems like it travels from the base end to the tip hitting tons of nerve endings along the way. This is a sensation that I have not felt with a toy that is not meant to thrust. I don't like the feeling of a toy actually thrusting so the fact that this dual motor setup is able to stimulate the nerves at the anus and make that stimulation travel to the p-spot is amazing. You know what I would really love to see? A device like this with an app or SDK that allows users to create their own patterns and intensity levels. Another Update: shortly after receiving my Vice 2, I noticed that Aneros had a voluntary recall due to some of the settings being stuck on a single power (medium-low or 2-out-of-4). I sent mine in and got a new one back. This made all the difference in power!
